TD Lind - La La Love
The latest single from TD Lind is La La Love, released back on the 15th September and taken from the album Call Me Sinner which was released on September 22nd.
I’m not overly enamoured with it. I don’t find it especially catchy despite the childish and joyful chorus. It smacks a little of The Monkees with a bit of funk and someone’s back bedroom. It’s ok. It’s fine. It reminds me of I Ain’t Got A Home. It’s certainly not as good as the album I‘ve reviewed previously which is a shame.
The B-side is quite charming though. It features a very sweet and light female vocal. Its mellow acoustic guitar reminds me of The Weepies. Again I’m not especially impressed but it’s quite calm and lovely. Unfortunately it’s nothing to write home about. Let’s see how the full album pans out.
“ It’s OK ”
